A New York native, Kathleen’s professional career has spanned over two decades from New York to Los Angeles, where she presided as Vice President of a New York advertising and marketing firm and later as Founder/CEO of Lowson International Studios in Los Angeles.

Kathleen founded Lowson International Studios to fulfill her mission to utilize the power of mass media to encourage social responsibility.  The studio’s slate encompasses motion pictures, documentaries and television, including a fine art photography division.

Lowson International Studios has a roster of films in various stages of production, which Kathleen conceived, created, and wrote, and is also serving as director.  The studio’s slate includes a Documentary Film Series, CRY OF THE INNOCENT: The Voices That Can’t Speak© and motion picture, In the Light of Truth© [both supported by HSI/HSUS (Humane Society International/The Humane Society of the United States), Sea Shepherd Conservation Society, Harpseals.org, PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals),  IFAW (International Fund for Animal Welfare], WSPA (World Society for the Protection of Animals), IDA (In Defense of Animals), and AAC (Animal Alliance of Canada)], as well as television projects and a roster of films with central themes involving social consciousness.

Kathleen independently provides consulting services in both the private and non-profit sectors.  Her broad business expertise offers clients a unique advantage in building brand, expanding reach, and broadening the scope of interests in the marketplace.

Kathleen also offers film services to writers, filmmakers and film producers, or those who wish to be, to meet their specific goals.

Among many publications, Kathleen authored a revelatory industry article, Hollywood Power in the 21st Century©, conducting interviews with Hollywood’s Academy Award filmmakers and actors, including Michael Douglas, Robert Zemeckis, Kathleen Kennedy (Founding Partner of Amblin Entertainment with Steven Spielberg), Bill Duke, Lili Fini Zanuck, Edward R. Pressman, Jane Rosenthal (Partner with Robert De Niro and President of the Tribeca Film Center), and others, including educators Elizabeth Monk Daley, Ph.D. (Dean of USC School of Cinema-Television) and Patty Burness (Executive Director of The George Lucas Educational Foundation).
